The L85A1 is a variant of the SA80 (Small Arms made in the 1980s) and is a British Assault Rifle developed to replace the L1A1 variant of the FN FAL that was currently in service. The L85A1 has a built in flash protector and can utilize a range of attachments such as SUSAT Scope and Rifle Grenades as well as a Bayonet. A large variant of the L85 was also created as a Light Support Weapon and was renamed L86 LSW
An member of the SA80 can be seen with an ACOG Scope can be seen in the trailer in the hands of an SAS operative overlooking a Soviet Airstrip. It is still unknown if the weapon is an L85A1 or the L86 LSW. More information will be released when available.
