Ryan Adams, born in 1975, was a longtime SAS member. Serving from 1996 to 2014. Adams served as a Sniper, demonstrating proficient skill on the Battlefield. Adams also served as a form of mentor to Michael and James Butler, who joined the SAS in 2007.
By the Second Russian Civil War, Ryan served as a sniping Instructor at Credenhill UK, as did his protégé, Sgt M.Butler. He did, however, recommend Michael to participate in the mission to take down Imran and Victor Zakhaev, not wanting Michael to spend half his life sitting at the base. In 2014, he retired from the SAS at the age of 41, believing that his best days were behind him.
In 2016, he was contacted by James Butler, Samuel Henderson and Frank Walker, three surviving Task Force 141 Members, all of whom were looking for a refuge from the authorities since all members of TF141 had been declared Global Terrorists.
