John Carver, AKA Neon, is a character in the Nuclear Strike DLC for Nuclear Warfare.

John Carver was born on June 15th, 2026. For the first 3 years of his life, he lived happily in a luxury house with his parents, but in 2029, one year after the events of Future Warfare, Xander and his family were evacuated to the Underground Bunkers known as VAULTS, as the United States of America was destroyed by several thousand nukes after the GTF struck Europe's nuclear reactors, leaving nothing but fire and destruction above the underground.

With the United States in pieces, John had grown after 7 years. Now 10 years old, he was able to escape the VAULT after his father, Dean Carver, helped him to kill the Overseer's security. His father was shot by Overseer, but John stabbed the Overseer in the stomach, and cut his arm off before cutting his stomach open. John and his father then escaped to the Wasteland, where they saw what the nukes did to the United States. Buildings were destroyed, radiation was everywhere, and the whole Wasteland was nothing but a desert. He and his father began the journey across the Wasteland.

After one whole year, John, who was now 11 years old, and his father were hiding out in a subway, trying to avoid the Overseer, who was still alive. John had found a auburn-haired 11 year old girl in the subway tunnels being assaulted by Wasteland Raiders. John gunned them down before they could hurt the girl. The two then made the way back to the fortress in the subway. John asks what the girl's name was, and the girl said "My name's Cora.", and John introduced himself to Cora in return.

Over the course of 3 months, John and Cora developed a friendship, but were not in a relationship... Yet.
